What will I get out of the Ladies Only Boot Camp?
Dramatic improvements in your well being and self confidence, you will increase your strength and endurance, you will see the difference in the mirror; loss of inches and a firmer body. You will feel more energised and motivated to carry on. You will receive motivation, coaching and nutritional advice to help you succeed on your own. Some girls are losing as much as 20 inches in 4 weeks!! Why not read the testimonials.
What will I get out of theMale Only Boot Camp?
You will achieve the body shape you have always dreamed of through specially designed sessions to ensure you achieve muscular toning, definition, fat loss and become very very fit! You will achieve this through training your body like never before and with the addition of nutritional guidance along the way.
Why have separate male and female boot camps?
As a personal Trainer you would never train a 20 year old fit man wanting to achieve muscular definition and a 50 year old unfit women wanting to lose 2 stone in the same way. It just makes perfect sense to separate the sexes to achieve the best possible results for as many people as possible.
Can I come along for a free trial session at Newcastle Boot Camp?
It will depend on how busy we are at the time. Click onto book a free trial or call 07954604684 to arrange.
What should I wear?
Please, please, please no leotards or spandex…especially for the guys!! You will need a good pair of supportive trainers as you will be running or power walking and comfortable socks. Depending on the weather you will need shorts or comfortable bottoms. Vest, t-shirt or jumper. In extreme weather you may want to bring a hat, gloves and waterproof jacket. You may want to bring a towel. I advise all women to wear a good supportive sports bra; we want to lift things up not drag them down! Clothing range is available to purchase. Go to BUY
Will I be sore after the session?
Good question. Most people feel a little sore for the first 2-3 days, hopefully after that you won’t be too sore. Its part of the process and lets you improve. Don’t focus on the discomfort, focus on the fact that your body is responding and getting results. Unfortunately we use the saying ‘No Pain, No Gain’ on a regular basis because it works. If changing your body shape was so easy we would all look like Kylie or Brad!! Remember ….. Pain goes away……Glory lasts forever!!!
How soon will I see results?
Remember everyone is different. Most people will see performance improvements within 3 days, visual improvements can take up to 4 weeks depending on your effort level, food intake etc. Feeling better is the first step to look for, performance second then visual improvements will follow.

What type of drink should I bring to Boot camp?
Water is the best fluid to drink before, during and after exercise. Please bring a very small water bottle with you as you may need to carry this around while you are moving. Running water bottles are best.
I am 4 stone overweight, can I still participate in Boot Camp?
Yes you can, the Personal Trainers expertise will ensure you are working at your level, competing against yourself. You will start at one level and by the end you will be at a different level.
I have had a few health problems over the past 4 years, can I still participate?
We will need to assess these heath issues with you before you can enrol. In most cases the answer is yes, however there are some circumstances when the answer will unfortunately be no, but maybe in the future.
I am 5 months pregnant, can I participate?
If you are an advanced athlete who has trained throughout her pregnancy the answer is yes, however if you are new to exercise the answer is no. You will need to wait until you have your 6 weeks check-up after giving birth. Once you are given the all clear from your doctor and midwife, give me a call.
Why are the ladies Boot Camps run by female Personal Trainer?
Good question...a few different reasons; Men and women are very different and should be trained differently. By specialising in ladies only we can ensure you receive great results and not waist your time. Another reason is that we talk about and give advice on subjects that men would not understand or want to know....problems after child birth, sore nipples, inner thigh sores etc. All the instructors are female too to ensure you always feel at ease talking about female issues/problems.
Can I buy a session card for my partner?
Yes, there are vouchers available for Christmas and other occasions. Please call 07954604684 or enter your details on the gift voucher section
Can I do extra training on my days off from Boot Camp?
Yes, the more exercise you do the better. Remember; ensure you have 2 days off per week. Everyone needs time for their body to rest, repair and improve.
What do you do with my personal information?
All the information you provide will be held in the strictest confidence. This information is for our own use to benefit you. Your information will not be passed on to a 3rd party unless requested by law.
As a female Unlimited Member, do I have to get weighed and Measured?
No. The W&M is every 6 weeks and optional. We run a Biggest Loser competition to keep you motivated. This is for anyone how wants to lose a certain amount of weight and inches. The most important aspect is how your clothes feel and what you see in the mirror not the scales.
What diets do you offer?
We have various ‘diets’ or structured eating plans for you to follow. It depends on the results you wish to achieve. Please see the document page on the website for downloads. Some diets are specifically for inch loss, toning and weight loss, others are for muscle gain.
What’s the structured eating plan; it’s not a soup diet is it?
Not at all. It’s not even a diet, it’s a structured healthy eating plan designed to promote fat loss and muscle gain (tone), resulting in a leaner, healthier and fitter body. It should be used as a long term healthy eating plan. You are not eliminating food groups or your favourite food, you are only limiting them. If you are anything like me; if someone tells me not to eat it, I want 10 of them!! I disagree with these 2 week diets or Atkins diet as the weight always goes straight back on with extra, these type of diets are also unhealthy and dangerous. You will also receive handy tips on how to burn extra calories and what food to eat when eating out or eating take aways. You will be provided with a login once you have paid to access this diet.
I already eat well, I want to improve my fitness levels and take my training to another level, not join a weight loss club. Do I need to follow the Structured Eating Plan?
No. Once again this is optional. Boot Camp will be made up of a mixture of abilities and reasons for participating. If you are happy with your current food intake that’s great, keep it going. Your reason for participating is great and challenging for us. We look forward to training you.
I usually participate on an evening; can I change some sessions to an early session as I have children and I work shifts?
Yes. You can do any sessions at any venue. We have tried to make the sessions as flexible as possible.
What will a typical session at Boot Camp be like?
It’s difficult to say, since every session is different. You can expect light running, cardio intervals, using your own body weight, weight training, obstacle courses, core training, hill training, races, games and boxing. You will never be bored!
What if its raining, will we still be exercising outside?
Yes, you will still be outside when the weather is bad. Invest in a good waterproof jacket, hat and gloves. Boot Camp clothing range is available to purchase. Go to BUY page
I have been recommended your boot camp by a friend but I have been to another boot camp and hated it. I was shouted at and felt awful. I’m not going to be made to feel like that am I?
No not at all. There are some boot camp instructors who really shouldn’t be working within the fitness industry. We are all qualified trainers who know how to motivate and encourage you to achieve results without degrading you and making you feel awful.
I have been attending the Gateshead Boot Camp. Can I also attend the Sunderland Boot Camp and Jesmond Boot Camp too?
Yes….you can attend any session at any venue. Just remember to have at least one day rest from exercise every week.
